Creating Your Photo Album

Start to Finish: How to make selections for your signature photo album

So, what’s next? Working together to create your dream wedding or portrait keepsake, to memorialize all of your joyful memories from your day!

Image Selection

The first step is for you to select the images you want in your photo album. To do so, click “select photo” within any folder in your gallery and you’ll be prompted to create an account. Then, select all the photos you’d like to go into the album - by clicking the heart or check mark on each image - and save them to your favorites in the top left of the page.

For Weddings & Elopements: Your wedding collection includes a 20 page album, and you can build up to 50 pages total for a gorgeous custom album if you would like ($15 per page for additional pages).

For Portraits: Your wedding collection includes a 15 page album, and you can build up to 50 pages total for a gorgeous custom album if you would like ($15 per page for additional pages).

How to narrow down: I usually suggest an average of 2.5 photos per page so if you want to stick with the 20 page album, select around 50 images and if you’d like to create an epic 50 page album, select 125 images or thereabouts. Since there are SO many photos, we can definitely do more than 2.5 images on a page - for full 50 page albums I suggest a max of 300 images. It works best to select all of the images you like without thinking about the number, and then pare it down, especially if some look pretty similar.

Debossing: Imprint up to three lines of text in the center of your front cover. Debossing is available in Baskerville, Coco Gothic, Dessau Pro, Eye Catching and Garage Gothic font, in *Blind (no color), Black, Copper, Gold, Matte Gold, Granite, Silver, Matte Silver or White for Standard Leather, Distressed Leather, Metallic Leather, Pearlescent Leather, Linen, and Velvet.

*Blind (no color) is the only debossing option available for Distressed leathers and standard (non-Silk) Velvets.

Choosing text and other material for your album

Once your images are selected, please email me any text you might want to include in your album. This could be your vows, readings, literary quotations, trivia questions, ceremony text, whatever you’d like.

If you have any specific images you would like to pair with the text please let me know, otherwise I will overlay and intersperse it in a way that I think best tells the story of your day.

Proofing & Editing

Once I have all of your photo and cover selections as well as text options, I’ll put together your first official proof! From there, we can move around images, add or remove them, and make as many edits as necessary until it’s perfect. Once you have officially approved of the proof, I will put in the order and send it your way within about 2 weeks of finalization!
